Sublimation

What is Sublimation?

Sublimation occurs when a material changes from the solid state to a gaseous state without passing through a liquid phase.

How works the Sublimation?

Images / patterns / motifs are printed on paper (Plotter) that will be used later to calk those in a textile base.

The paper and the fabric to decorate are overlaid and pressed by a hot roll (at about 210 ° Celsius) for a certain period of time.

The applied pressure and heat radiated by the transfer rollers, the ink on the printed paper to textile fibers, the end result is a vibrating solid printing. This was previously a normal piece of fabric or mesh.

Important note that sublimation can only be performed on fabric bases with high percentage of polyester in its composition (50% or higher).
